Embracing the enchantment of fairytales, Call of Duty Mobile ushers in the new year with its Season 1 release, aptly named "Soldier's Tale." The game's developers have shared insights via a recent blog post about what gamers can anticipate with the upcoming update. Season 1 rolls out on January 10 at 4 PM Pacific Time / 7 PM Eastern Time, bringing with it a magical blend of folklore-inspired content.

This season introduces an all-new battle pass that spans 50 tiers of items, both free and premium. Available rewards encompass a variety of operator skins and weapon blueprints, each bearing designs inspired by classic fairytales, as well as CoD Points and assorted aesthetic items.

Within the free tiers of the battle pass, players can look forward to acquiring a fresh tactical item and a new sniper rifle to enhance their gameplay. The Trip Sensor Tactical device, available at Tier 14, allows gamers to set up cunning traps for unsuspecting foes. The addition of a new bolt-action sniper rifle, the LW3-Tundra, waits at Tier 21 and promises players the thrilling opportunity for one-shot eliminations.

Delving into the premium tier rewards reveals a fantastical array of operator skins showcasing characters such as Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. Weapon blueprints follow suit with whimsical themes, including Caterpillar's Poetry design for the Striker submachine gun and the mythic Dragon's Roar for the ICR assault rifle, alongside several others.

The update also introduces a compact map known as Atrium, a locale that originally made its debut in Modern Warfare 2019. Alongside this is the seasonal event titled "1001 Blades," which tasks players with mission completions that yield Steel and Bronze Dagger collectibles. These daggers serve as keys to unlocking rewards, including the ornate Mad Hatter's Revenge blueprint for the FFAR 1 assault rifle and the regal Soldier Royal skin for the operator known as Zero.

As is customary with new seasonal releases, Call of Duty Mobile Season 1 doesn't stop at content additions. Players can also expect an array of quality-of-life enhancements, new challenges for the season, a variety of store bundles, and other updates.

Specific store bundles revealed for Season 1 include the Templar Wolfen Raider set, featuring a lupine-themed operator skin, and the Fiona St. George: Shattered Glass package, offering an operator skin that gives a nod to an armored Cinderella.

Moreover, fans can anticipate the midseason refresh for MW3 and Warzone, which promises an influx of additional weaponry, a fresh MP map, a Ranked Play introduction, and innovative game modes for even more excitement.
