Wuthering Waves is a new free-to-play RPG where players will want to be able to level up as quickly as possible. The game has an open-world map with lots of action, enemies, and side quests to explore. These will help players level up and max out their Echoes by gaining as much experience as possible.

Wuthering Waves is a Genshin Impact-like game with ways to build up your party and player character. Like many RPGs, there is a lot of exploration to do, and players will want to be able to handle any enemy that they come across. This will require leveling up three separate areas that contribute to your overall performance and player level.

Level Up The SOL3 Phase and Union Level

Quests and Daily Activities

The two primary elements here are closely interconnected, so it's essential to focus on them both. These components also influence the third aspect mentioned later. For players who aren't focused on fast leveling, there's no need for concern. Simply exploring the world and finishing quests will naturally help you level up. However, for those aiming to level up swiftly, here are some useful tips.

Completing quests is a great way to earn Union EXP. This is one of the faster ways to level up, as most quests are not time-consuming and are worth the effort. Most of them will also take you through various areas of the map, which is useful for fighting regular enemies to collect more EXP and Echoes.

Daily Activities are also unlocked after you have finished Chapter 1 Act 3: Ominous Star. These Daily Activities are a series of mini-quests or tasks that give you points. Most of the tasks will grant you 20 or 40 points, giving you a new reward with every 20 points earned.

Some of the rewards are Union EXP, but there are other rewards as well. Altogether, the Daily Activities can earn up to 2000 Union EXP every day without doing too much extra effort.

Boss Challenges are also unlocked at the same time as Daily Activities, but you will have to reach Union Level 10 to participate. You will want to take on these challenges as often as you can, as repeatable rewards can be earned. Make sure to get a good weapon for these fights, which you can guarantee through Wuthering Waves’ Pity System.

You will earn more EXP from defeating a boss than taking on smaller enemies. However, these enemies add up, so do not ignore them as you roam across the map.

There are suggestions that you have to exchange several waveplates to collect the Boss rewards for these challenges, but that is not the case. You need only defeat the boss.

SOL3 Phases are tied directly to your Union Level in that these Phases will increase at each multiple of 10 you reach in your Union Level. Your SOL3 Phase determines the difficulty of the enemies you face in the world, although you can directly change your SOL3 Phase if you want to lower it.

However, at Union Levels 20, 40, and 60, you must complete a trial to increase your level. It is recommended that you do so as soon as possible as if you do not, your Union Level will be capped.

Leveling Up The Databank

Fight Every Enemy

skyjlv on YouTube has some good tips for maxing out your Databank, which depends on the Echoes you collect. Like filling up the World Intel system in FF7 Rebirth, you will want to travel to collect everything you can. This is one reason to fight every enemy, whether big or small. You will want to use your Guidebook to track enemies, collect any Echoes you do not have, and know which ones you still need to level up fully.

Saving the low-level Echoes is important because you can use them to level up your entries in the Data Bank to a higher level without fighting more enemies. However, skyjlv recommends waiting and not using them until you have passed Data Bank Level 15. It will boost you to the next milestone level, Level 19.

You have to be Union Level 30 and SOL3 Rank 4 to progress past Databank Level 15. Likewise, you have to be Union Level 40 and SOL3 Rank 5 to max out your Databank.

Boss Challenges can also help with your Databank, but you will mainly want to fight as many enemies and as many different types of enemies as possible. This will help you level up quickly overall in Wuthering Waves, as that will contribute to every kind of EXP you can earn.
